Authors Note: This story will be part of a series following Bea Bullet, a racer set in a cyberpunk world filled with crime and lack of law. She and her mechanic and wife Karrie start from the bottom of the racer’s roster to become one of the most famous racer’s in the city’s history. This is just to feel out the tone of both characters and how they interact with one another. Karrie here does seem a bit harsh here, but her claiming attitude is something I want to contrast with Bea’s confident, stoic attitude.
